Our Documentary: PUPPETS: Origin of Showmanship, is in primary filming in Tokyo after Filming in Australia, Bangkok, Cambodia, Vietnam, with China and Europe the next locations, then the Americas in 2007. The massive world wide filming project will be finished in 2008 in time for a world premiere at a yet to be disclosed venue. Release is to coincide with a related major world event.
Kevin Baglow producer of the film is the principal of www.filmtheatres.com.
Kevin’s experience with Marionettes extends back 43 years. Up to age 13 He operated a traveling puppet theatre that performed around Central Queensland, Australia. His shows were used as charity fundraisers He also performed on the newly introduced medium—Television in 1962.
Finding that the big screen cinema attracted steadier audiences in his small community, he changed careers to cinema projectionist at 14, and opened his own brand new cinema at 19 years old. Developing the cinema into a traveling cinema covering the east coast of Australia, and starting a cinema supply company took the next 30 years. Kevin is now more involved in Film Production.
PUPPETS: the Origin of Showmanship, will explore the earliest known history of puppet theatres - to the finest in creations that the world enjoys in the 21st centaury.
